Kari Burt has been with Rehberg Law Group, PLLC since 1999 and has served in many capacities. Currently, Kari manages and customizes HotDocs, the legal drafting software used to draft Estate Planning documents. As part of her management of HotDocs, Kari develops processes to make drafting as efficient as possible. She also updates and reviews the legal documents used at Rehberg Law Group to ensure consistency between the different teams.
Kari also served as Senior Paralegal of the drafting department. She has experience drafting estate planning documents and making updates or changes during the drafting process. Kari frequently acts as a liaison between the clients and attorneys during the drafting process to address any questions or concerns that clients might have before they sign documents. She enjoys getting to know clients and helping develop estate plans that leave a legacy that will bless others. Kari scaled back her time at RLG in 2010 to care for her son after he was diagnosed with cancer. She has a heart for parents of children with special needs and life-threatening illnesses.
Kari graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor’s degree in English and Communication in 2003. Shortly after graduating, Kari married her husband, Josh. They both enjoy travelling and attending Husky Football games together. They live in Auburn with their three children: their daughter, Madison, and their twins, Max and Molly. She enjoys volunteering her time at her church and her children’s school, spending time with her family, gardening, camping, and skiing.
